Park Overlook 104 Townhouse lots Frederick, Frederick County, MD 1998-2002 (phase 1) 2005-2008(phase 2) CHALLENGE To develop a community on a 7 acres hilltopforest surrounded by a historic park and railroad tracks. Through a narrow opening connecting the community with the nearest main road, Primus developedthis vast forest into a close-knit community, while preserving its nature and serenity. SOLUTION Primus built a neat cluster of 104 townhouses surrounding a 3-acre island of forest in the center of the development. The trees provided residents with a sense of privacy while retaining the close community atmosphere and immersive natural environment. The neighborhood was also connected to the historic park through several pedestrian pathways. |
